The Daffodil Raceday marks the exciting opening of the Colliers Hawke’s Bay Spring Racing Carnival, bringing together some of New Zealand’s finest thoroughbreds for a great day of racing, hospitality, and community spirit.

Proudly presented in association with Colliers Hawke’s Bay, Westbury Stud, and the Hawke’s Bay Cancer Society, this special raceday celebrates the arrival of Spring while supporting a cause that touches so many in our community.

While our traditional Group 1 feature will be contested at Ellerslie this year, The Daffodil Raceday continues to showcase outstanding thoroughbred racing in Hawke’s Bay, headlined by the Listed Sir Colin Meads Trophy

Off the track, guests can enjoy premium hospitality, fashion, entertainment, and the vibrant atmosphere.

Join us as we launch the carnival in style—celebrating exceptional racing, the spirit of our region, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for our community.
