Working on the plough, which provided good footing after more than 8 millimetres of rain on Sunday, No Rock No Pop worked in from the 1200m peg in 1:23.7. She ran the first 600m at three-quarter pace before sprinting home the last 600m in 36.4.

Can I Get An Amen, who has been freshened since finishing fourth in the Group 1 Telegraph Sprint (1200m) at Trentham more than a month ago, was let off with 1000m at three-quarter pace, running home the last 600 in 41.4. She looks to have benefited from the short break.
No Time To Jazz, who will race next in a Rating 74 race over 1400m at Hastings next Wednesday, was another who worked in at three-quarter pace from the 1000m peg before sprinting home the last 600 in 35.7. She has recorded two wins, both on her home track.
Joule, a Shocking four-year-old mare trained by Pam Holden, was timed to run a solo 1000m in 1:03.2, the last 600 in 36 while Estefania and Candle both underwent three-quarter pace workouts early in the session.
