Real Slim Tradie showed he is right on target for this Saturday’s Te Rapa meeting when he worked in great style in company at Tuesday’s Hastings track session.

Real Slim Tradie worked with Makaldee over 1000m and they had the pace on all the way, running the full distance in 1:01.8, the last 600 in 35.4.
Real Slim Tradie looks to have thrived since his last start win in a Rating 75 race over 1200m at Hastings on October 15 and will appreciate the extra 100m on Saturday. Kate Hercock retains the ride.
One Dream One Soul, entered for this Thursday’s Woodville meeting, was another who hit out very well in trackwork when running a solo 800m in 52.5, the last 600 in 36.3. She has also trained on well since her last start second on the last day of the Hawke’s Bay spring carnival.
Can I Get An Amen ended her work with an easy 600m in 40.5s. She heads to Riccarton for the Group 3 Stewards Stakes (1200m) on Saturday week and was one of several horses from the Guy Lowry stable who were let off with easy assignments in trackwork as a lot of them are heading to the Foxton trials this Friday.
New Orleans Jazz and Written Up, both entered for Woodville on Thursday, worked together over 1000m in 1:03.3, the last 600 in 36.3 while Manhattan Jazz ran a solo 1000m in 1:05.9, the last 600 in 38.4.
Duncan Creek worked with a Zacinto four-year-old gelding over 800m in 58.1, the last 600 in 39.8 and both horses were kept under a good hold. Duncan Creek is another who heads to the Foxton trials and will then be aimed at a $30,000 three-year-old race over 1400m at Awapuni on November 11.
Bazooka sprinted the last 600m of his work in 36 and was striding out well at the finish while Courvoisier, another entered for Woodville on Thursday, finished ahead of a Highly Recommended three-year-old filly at the end of 800m in 55.7, the last 600 in 39.4.
Tin Pan Alley and a Sweet Orange two-year-old sprinted 600m together in 38.7 while No Bid and a Mongolian Khan three-year-old ended their work with 600m in 40.8.
Freebee ran a solo 800m in 58.6, the last 600 in 42.9 while stablemate The Mammoth worked over 1000m in 1:11.2, the last 600 in 39.9.
Podium was one horse from the Lowry stable let off with an easy assignment, running home her last 600m in 42.3 while stablemate Diva Dynasty ran over the same ground in 42.
