John Jenkins | December 13, 2022

Stablemates Pep Torque and Real Slim Tradie turned in a strong gallop together at this morning’s Hastings trackwork session in preparation for Saturday’s Manawatu meeting which will now be held on the Trentham track.

Fast work was confined to the plough which provided good footing.

Pep Torque and Real Slim Tradie worked over 1000m in 1:03.6, running the first 400m in 28.1 before quickening nicely over the last 600 in 35.5s.

It was excellent work from both horses and both horses pulled up well.
