TRACKWORK | 10 MARCH 2026

Exit Left turned in one of the best gallops in a quiet Hastings trackwork session this morning.

Fast work was confined to the plough, which provided soft footing.

Exit Left had co-trainer Mick Brown aboard when working over a round. He put the pace over the last 1000m in 1:05.7, running home strongly over the final 600m in 38.

The Turn Me Loose gelding looks to be coming up nicely in a new preparation and performed very well in a recent Waipukurau jumpout. He could resume at either Wanganui this Saturday or Trentham the following weekend.

Bedtime Story, another who performed very well at the recent Waipukurau jumpouts, worked early in the session over 1000m but could not be timed in the bad light. She is another who is coming up well in a new preparation.

Trust Alone and Vincero, both in Aaron Bidlake’s stable, worked together over 1200m in 1:26.1, the last 600 in 38.8 while Sea Star Win ended her work with 600m in 38.9.

Touch Of Paradise, who will be seen again over hurdles this winter, was not hurried when running a solo 1200m in 1:30.1, the last 600 in 42.6 while Creation and Adera worked together over 800m in 57.7, the last 600 in 40.7.

Popsicle and a Tarzino two-year-old filly, both trained by Aaron Bidlake, ran an easy 600m in 41.4.
