Duncan Creek took the time honours in another quiet trackwork session at Hastings today.

Thursday for the Listed $80,000 Anzac Mile (1600m). Wiremu Pinn has been booked to ride him.

Fonsi, a younger half-brother to Duncan Creek, also worked on his own when sprinting 600m in 36.8. He is also heading to Otaki on Thursday where he will contest a Rating 65 race over 1200m. Wiremu Pinn will also ride him.

Bedtime Story, preparing for Saturday’s Group 3 Cambridge Breeders Stakes (1200m) at Te Rapa, worked early in the session and could not be timed in the dark. She has freshened up well since her last start fourth in the Wellington Guineas (1400m) and finished second to Duncan Creek in a 1000m jumpout at Waipukurau last week.

It’s Amelia, who resumes in the 1100m three-year-old race at Otaki on Thursday, was let off with an easy workout over 800m, the last 600 in 44.1. She finished third in a 1000m jumpout at Waipukurau last week.

Bahia Emerald worked with a Tarzino three-year-old gelding over 1000m in 1:09.4, the last 600 in 40 while Rosalita ran 800m at three-quarter pace in preparation for the maiden 1400m race at Otaki.
